The Society of Educational Administrators of Nigeria (SEAN) is a professional body dedicated to promoting excellence, integrity, and innovation in educational leadership and administration across Nigeria. We bring together school heads, administrators, policymakers, and educators committed to improving the management and delivery of education at all levels.

Membership Levels

The general benefits of membership include full benefits which, in specific cases, cover voting privileges and the right to be nominated for leadership positions at Regional or National levels within the Society.

Fellow (FSEA)

The highest honor for senior professionals who have made a major creative contribution to educational administration, awarded by invitation or merit to those who are or qualify as MSEA.

Full Professional Member (MSEA)

Recognizes professional competence, integrity, and expertise at a Bachelor's degree level or equivalent and above, with a high level of knowledge in educational administration and related fields.

Associate (ASEA)

A transitional grade for those with certified knowledge and practical understanding (e.g., NCE holders, public officers) competent in maintaining and managing administrative structures in educational settings.

Licentiate (LSEA)

A transitional grade recognizing certified knowledge and at least one year of experience in educational delivery/administration, often for those holding qualifications like the old Grade II Teachers Certificate, A-Levels, or OND.

Institution/Corporate Membership

For schools, colleges, universities, and organizations (including ministries, media houses, and regulatory bodies) that actively support educational development in Nigeria.
